On May 24, 2018, McGuire Nuclear Station adopted Certificate of Compliance (CoC) Number 1031, Amendment Number 7, for its NAC-MAGNASTOR dry cask storage systems (Model No.

MAGNASTOR). The casks listed on the table below were previously registered under Certificate of Compliance Number 1031, Amendment Number 2, Revision Number 1.

Per 10 CFR 72.212(b)(4), when applying changes authorized by an amended CoC to a cask loaded under an earlier CoC, each such cask must be registered no later than 30 days after applying the changes. In accordance with this requirement, Duke Energy hereby re-registers the use of the Cask Identification Numbers identified in the table below.
