image001.png ML25345A158 Oyster Creek Nuclear architectural report.pdf Good day,

Based on the information provided in the attached report, Architectural History Survey of Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Ocean County, New Jersey (ML25345A158),

the NRC staff has made a preliminary determination of No Adverse Effect, pursuant to 36 CFR 800.5(b). The NRC staff finds that none of the buildings/structures evaluated at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (OCNGS) are eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), with the exception of two railroad bridges that have been previously determined NRHP-eligible: the South Fork Branch of the Forked River Trestle (Barnegat Branch Railroad) and the Oyster Creek Trestle (Barnegat Branch Railroad). These two railroad trestles will be avoided by the undertaking.

The NRC staff is requesting concurrence with our determinations of eligibility and effect within 30 days.

If you have any questions concerning the NRCs NHPA Section 106 consultation, please let me know.

Regards,

Beau J. Goldstein, RPA Environmental Project Manager U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Office of Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards
