SUMMARY

OF DECEMBER 9, 2025, MEETING WITH CONSTELLATION ENERGY GENERATION, LLC, RELATED TO POTENTIAL AMENDMENTS TO REVISE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 3.3.7.1 (EPID L-2025-LRM-0151)

On December 9, 2025, a closed meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and representatives of Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (Constellation). The purpose of the meeting was for the NRC staff to discuss a potential license amendment request (LAR) for LaSalle County Station, Units. 1 and 2 (LaSalle). The LAR would revise LaSalle Technical Specification (TS) 3.3.7.1, Control Room Area Filtration (CRAF)

System Instrumentation. The meeting notice and agenda dated December 2, 2025, are available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML25336A028. A list of attendees is provided as an enclosure to this summary.

Constellation presented information related to the planned amendment request for LaSalle (see ML25350B894). Specifically, the licensee detailed the design of the CRAF system. The licensee described the need for the amendment which would modify the TSs to allow time to make repairs to the system. The NRC staff questioned the licensee on the system design and the schedule for the amendment request. The licensee provided responses to the staffs system design questions and stated that the need for the amendment quickly would provide operational flexibility due to long lead time for obsolete materials in case a channel of the CRAF was lost before the maintenance could be performed.

No members of the public were in attendance. No regulatory decisions were made at this meeting.
