For Your Comments - State of Alabama - Farley Units 1 and 2 - Licensee Amendment Request to Revise TS Table 3.3.3-1 Post Accident Monitoring Instrumentation - EPID L-2025-LLA-0100 EXTERNAL EMAIL - This message originated from outside of AEMA Good morning Quinton, The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff plans to issue a license amendments to Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) for Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant (Farley), Units 1 and 2, on approximately January 15, 2026.
By application dated June 30, 2025, SNC requested to modify the Farley, Units 1 and 2, technical specifications (TS). Specifically, the proposed changes would revise TS 3.3.3, Post Accident Monitoring (PAM) Instrumentation,
2 by removing Function 10, [Reactor Coolant System] RCS Subcooling Margin Monitor, from Table 3.3.3-1, Post Accident Monitoring Instrumentation.
If the State of Alabama has comments on the license amendment request, please provide your comments by noon on December 29, 2025.
