U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION VERIFICATION FOR WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY TOPICAL REPORT WCAP-18904-P/NP-A, REVISION 0, CRITICAL POWER EXPERIMENTS AND D6 CPR CORRELATION FOR TRITON11 FUEL (PROPRIETARY/NON-PROPRIETARY) (EPID L-2023-TOP-0054)
Dear Mr. Ewing:
By letter dated November 11, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML25318A740), Westinghouse Electric Company (Westinghouse) submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) the approved versions (-A) of Topical Report (TR) WCAP-18904-P/NP-A, Revision 0, Critical Power Experiments and D6 CPR Correlation for TRITON11 Fuel (Proprietary/Non-proprietary). Westinghouse has done so in accordance with our request to publish -A proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the TR, as detailed in the NRC final safety evaluation (SE) transmittal letter dated August 6, 2025 (ML25121A021), for the TR WCAP-18904-P/NP, Revision 0, Critical Power Experiments and D6 CPR Correlation for TRITON11 Fuel.
The NRC staff has completed its verification review of the -A version of the TR. The NRC staff verified that the submitted TR WCAP-18904-P/NP-A, Revision 0, Critical Power Experiments and D6 CPR Correlation for TRITON11 Fuel, is acceptable for referencing in licensing applications for nuclear power plants to the extent specified and under the limitations and conditions delineated in the NRC final SE and the TR. The -A version, TR WCAP-18904-P/NP-A, Revision 0, Critical Power Experiments and D6 CPR Correlation for TRITON11 Fuel, is now approved for use in future licensing actions.
