By application dated April 7, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Package Accession No. ML25094A177), Framatome Inc., submitted Topical Report (TR) BAW-10247, Revision 0, Supplement 3P, Revision 0, Realistic Thermal-Mechanical Fuel Rod Methodology for Boiling Water Reactors Supplement 3: Extension to Higher Exposures, for U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review and approval. On September 9-11, 2025 (ML25212A128), the NRC staff conducted an in-person audit of TR BAW-10247, Revision 0, Supplement 3P, Revision 0, to discuss the NRC staffs questions provided in the audit plan and for an overview of the TR to get clarification on the proposed methodology, process and calculations. The audit provided additional information to support the NRC staffs review and development of the safety evaluation. Enclosed for your information is a copy of the audit report.
