Kairos KP-FHR Core Design and Analysis Methodology Topical Report - Final Audit Report Jim Tomkins Kairos Power, LLC 707 W. Tower Ave, Suite A Alameda, CA 94501 Mr. Tomkins, The non-proprietary (public) version of the final summary report for the regulatory audit associated with the NRC staffs review of Topical Report (TR) KP-TR-024-P, KP-FHR Core Design and Analysis Methodology, will be available in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML25142A089. By letter dated April 3, 2024, Kairos Power, LLC (Kairos) submitted for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review KP-TR-024-P, KP-FHR Core Design and Analysis Methodology, Revision 0 (ML24095A255). On August 22, 2024, the NRC issued an audit plan for the purpose of gaining a better understanding of KP-TR-024-P (ML24222A276). In many cases Kairos updated the TR to resolve items discussed in the audit. By letter dated June 17, 2025, Kairos submitted Revision 1 of KP-TR-024-P (ML25168A340). The NRC staff has completed this audit and prepared the final audit summary report.
The NRC staff provided Kairos a draft of the audit summary report for the purpose of identifying proprietary export controlled information on September 24, 2025 (ML25267A227). Kairos provided comments regarding the proprietary export controlled information in the draft audit summary report on October 15, 2025. The NRC staff incorporated those comments, as appropriate, into the final audit summary report. On November 20, 2025, Kairos confirmed that the proprietary export controlled information in the final audit summary report was appropriately marked.
A copy of the proprietary (non-public) version of the final audit summary report has been placed in the NRCs external sharepoint site to which you and Joe-Nimique Cilliers have been given access.
