ORANO USA LLC STANDARD PRACTICE PROCEDURE PLAN: REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER L-2025-SPR-0008
Dear Jean-Luc Palayer:
This is regarding your letter dated August 15, 2025 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession No. ML25227A250), submitting Orano USA LLCs (Orano) Standard Practice Procedure Plan in support of Oranos request to transition from its U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) non-possessing facility clearance (FCL) number N4192 to a possessing FCL for the NRC staffs review.
The NRC staffs review of your submittal has identified additional information that is still needed before final action can be taken. We request that the additional information specified in the enclosure to this letter be provided within 20 days of the date of this communication. Pending your response, we anticipate completing our formal review by early January 2025. Please note that this due date could change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate if any significant changes to this schedule are needed.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 2, Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS.
