Dear Administrative Judges:
The NRC Staff wishes to inform the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (Board) and participants in this proceeding that on or about October 22, 2025, the Staff transmitted to the Commission a Notification of Significant Licensing Action (NSLA) regarding the proposed issuance of a license amendment for which a hearing has been requested. The NSLA states that a final no significant hazards consideration determination and license amendment approving revisions to the technical specifications to allow the use of Framatome Alloy 690 sleeves to repair defective steam generator tubes as an alternative to removing the tubes from service by plugging at Palisades Nuclear Plant, will be issued on or about October 31, 2025. A copy of the NSLA is enclosed herewith.
