This is a Closed meeting. It is a general information exchange having no direct, substantive connection to a specific NRC regulatory decision or action.
Purpose:
The purpose of this closed meeting between Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss the licensee's basis for calculations associated with the remaining service life determinations for Arkansas Nuclear One, Units 1 and 2 buried service water piping. These calculations are the final open item demonstrating a return to compliance related to a 2022 Notice of Violation NRC letter to Entergy, "Notice of Violation, NRC Inspection Report 05000313/2022011 and 05000368/2022011," dated November 9, 2022 (ML22301A153),
for the failure to manage the effects of aging on the subject piping. This will be a CLOSED meeting to discuss proprietary information.
