HI-STORM FW Amendment 10 Response to Request for Additional Information Second Batch
Dear Mr. Nguyen:
Holtec International appreciates the NRCs ongoing review of the application to amend Certificate of Compliance (CoC) 72-1032 for the HI-STORM FW MPC Storage System. This letter submits the response to the staffs request for additional information (RAI).
The responses to the RAIs are provided in Attachment 1 (proprietary version) and Attachment 2 (non-proprietary version). The proposed changes to the FSAR as a result of the RAIs are included in Attachment 3 (non-proprietary). All proposed changes related to this amendment are shown in track change versions, with proposed changes related to the RAIs specifically highlighted in yellow for clarity. Attachment 4 contains the proposed changes to the proposed CoC Appendix A. contains proposed changes to the licensing drawing supporting the RAI responses. contains the revised dimensional report supporting the RAI responses. Attachment 7 contains the revised structural calculation package supporting the RAI responses.
Since some attachments to this letter contain Holtec proprietary information, an affidavit requesting this information be withheld in accordance with 10CFR2.390 is included as Attachment
