Meeting Purpose 2
Discuss codes and standards used for design and construction of the IKE uranium enrichment facility to be located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Discussions during this meeting are intended to support Oranos plans for submitting an application for a Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 70, "Domestic Licensing of Special Nuclear Material," special nuclear materials license for the facility.
Meeting Category and Public Participation 3
This is a Partially Closed meeting consisting of two sessions. A first session that will be open for public observation after which members of the public will have an opportunity to ask questions or make comments to the NRC staff about the issues discussed. No comments towards regulatory decisions are being actively solicited.
The open session will be followed by a session that will be closed to the public because the NRC staff has determined that the information to be discussed is either proprietary, security-related, or safeguards information.
