ISSUANCE OF SUBSEQUENT RENEWED FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NOS. DPR-19 AND DPR-25 FOR DRESDEN NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNITS 2 AND 3
Dear Christopher D. Wilson:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued Subsequent Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-19 and DPR-25 to Constellation Energy Generation, LLC, for Dresden Nuclear Power Station (Dresden), Units 2 and 3 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Nos. ML052990131 and ML052990135, respectively). The NRC issued the subsequent renewed facility operating license upon completion of its review of your application dated April 17, 2024 (Package ML24108A007), as supplemented by letters dated February 20, 2025 (ML25051A253), March 13, 2025 (ML25072A153), April 10, 2025 (ML25100A132), April 28, 2025 (ML25118A278), and May 8, 2025 (ML25128A184).
The Subsequent Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-19 for Dresen, Unit 2, will expire at midnight on December 22, 2049. The Subsequent Renewed Facility Operating License No.
DPR-19 for Dresen, Unit 3, will expire at midnight on January 12, 2051.
The technical basis for issuing the subsequent renewed facility operating license for Dresden, Units 2 and 3, is set forth in Final Safety Evaluation to the Subsequent License Renewal of Dresden Nuclear Power Station, Units 2 and 3, issued September 9, 2025 (ML25251A146). to this letter is Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-19 and Technical Specifications for Dresden, Unit 2. to this letter is Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-25 and Technical Specifications for Dresden, Unit 3.
No changes were made to the Technical Specifications as a result of this license renewal.
