Dear Dir. Warden:
Enclosed is export license amendment application PXB3.17 accepted for review by the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission on May 2, 2025, from Nordion (Canada) Inc., for the export of Category 1 and Category 2 levels of Cobalt-60. The radionuclides are contained in sealed sources and will be exported to Canada for disposition, as authorized.
The purpose of this amendment request is to edit the name of an U.S. Party listed on the current license and update the zip code assigned to an additional U.S. Party. Barring no dissenting comments or petitions to intervene from the public, the NRC plans to issue the requested license amendment after 30-days.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact licensing officer George.Moose@nrc.gov and forward comments, acknowledgements, or responses to this request to ECNP_EBResponse.Resource@nrc.gov.
Sincerely, 7/17/2025 X Andrea Jones Andrea Jones Signed by: Nuclear Regulatory Commission Andrea Jones, Acting Branch Chief Export Controls and Non-Proliferation Branch Office of International Programs
