OF THE JUNE 17, 2025, PUBLIC OUTREACH TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2024 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 On June 17, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. (CDT), an observation meeting was held by representatives of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2024 End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment of Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, along with general information on the NRC. The meeting was held during the Village of Mishicot Board Meeting in Mishicot, WI. The NRC discussed plant performance with local government officials and members of the public.
The NRC discussed their assessment of Point Beach, as documented in the March 11, 2025, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (ADAMS Accession Number ML25064A387) during the public outreach. The PowerPoint presentation for the meeting is available in ADAMS, Accession Number ML25177A023.
