Purpose:
The NRC staff will discuss its assessment of safety performance at Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, for 2024, as described in the 2024 annual assessment letter. The presentation will be given during a Village of Mishicot Board meeting. NRC staff will be available after the board meeting to answer questions specific to the safety performance of the station(s) and the NRCs role in ensuring safe plant operations. Due to the nature of the city council meeting, the end time for the meeting is approximate.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments toward regulatory decisions at this meeting.
