ESP Application (ESPA) for the North Anna Site submitted in September 2003 NRC issued ESP-003 in November 2007 10 CFR 52.26 limits the duration of an ESP to no more than 20 years 10 CFR 52.29(a) - Applications for renewed ESP permitted:

- Not more than 36 months before expiration date

- Not less than 12 months before expiration date

- North Anna Site ESP renewal application is required before November 27, 2026 10 CFR 52.33 - Dominion will be seeking renewal of the ESP for 20 years, plus any remaining years on the ESP in effect before renewal

Expectations:

Clear communications of deliverables and process (both sides)

Full Dominion support of NRC efficiency improvement initiatives Timely review Considering the unique nature of the North Anna ESP, the goal is a 9-12 month timeline to issue a renewal of the ESP.

Dominion expects that the NRC will prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) for renewal of the ESP Dominion recognizes this must include timely and complete responses throughout the process relative to RFIs, RAIs, and RCIs.
