OF THE MAY 7, 2025, PUBLIC OUTREACH TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2024 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF LASALLE COUNTY STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 On May 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CDT), an information meeting (open house) with question-and-answer session was held by representatives of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2024 end-of-cycle plant performance assessment of LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2, along with general information on the NRC. Representatives from Constellation Nuclear were also in attendance.
The NRC discussed their assessment of LaSalles performance as documented in the March 11, 2025, end-of-cycle assessment letter (ADAMS Accession No. ML25069A667).
During the question-and-answer session of the open house, representatives from the NRC discussed various topics of public interest with a representative from the office of Illinois State Senator Sue Rezin.
