SUMMARY
- 2024 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING REGARDING BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT, DOCKET NOS. 05000324, 05000325, MEETING NUMBER 20250427 On April 22, 2025, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a meeting concerning Brunswick Steam Electric Plant. The purpose of the meeting was to provide opportunities for the public to discuss the annual assessment for the period of January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.
The public meeting was held at the Brunswick Energy & Education Center in Southport, North Carolina. The following documents related to the meeting are available in ADAMS: Meeting Notice (ML25097A049), Annual Assessment Letter (ML25066A155).
The meeting was conducted from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. NRC representatives discussed their assessment of Brunswicks performance, as documented in the annual assessment letter, and discussed topics of public interest during the question and answer session. There was minimal interaction with the public and no official list of attendees was recorded.
The meeting was listed in the Public Meeting Feedback System under Meeting Code 20250427 and as of the date of this memo, there were no feedback responses submitted.
