PUBLIC MEETING
SUMMARY
- 2024 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING REGARDING MCGUIRE NUCLEAR STATION DOCKET NOS. 05000369 AND 05000370, MEETING NUMBER 20250529 On May 6, 2025, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff conducted a public meeting concerning McGuire Nuclear Station. The purpose of the meeting was to provide opportunities for the public to discuss the annual assessment for the period of January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.
The public meeting was held at the EnergyExplorium at McGuire Nuclear Station, in Huntersville, North Carolina. The following documents related to the meeting are available in ADAMS: Meeting Notice (ML25112A261), Annual Assessment Letter (ML25065A268).
The meeting was conducted from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. There were 11 attendees, 10 of whom were representatives from the NRC and Duke Energy, and 1 member of the public from the South Carolina Office of Regulatory Staff.
