Rule of Professional Conduct 1.11 to screen Joseph Azeizat from the above-captioned proceeding. The actions taken by the Firm are described in the attached letter to Tison Campbell and Eric Michel, the Designated Agency Ethics Official and Alternate Designated Agency Ethics Official, respectively, for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Dear Messrs. Campbell and Michel:
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP ("the Firm") hereby provides notice to you as the Designated Agency Ethics Official and Alternate Designated Agency Ethics Official, respectively, for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), of actions taken by the Firm pursuant to District of Columbia Rule of Professional Conduct 1.11.
Joseph Azeizat will be joining the Firm as an Associate within our Firm's Energy and Project Development Practice Group, resident in our Washington, DC office. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr.
Azeizat served as an Attorney for the NRC, and as Legal Counsel for Commissioner Annie Caputo of the NRC. Mr. Azeizat has advised Morgan Lewis that, in his former positions at the NRC, he participated personally and substantially (or may be perceived as having done so) in the following matters in which the Firm has entered an appearance:
Duke Energy Carolinas LLC(Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2, & 3) (Subsequent License Renewal), Docket Nos. 50-269-SLR, 50-270-SLR, and 50-287-SLR Duke Energy Carolinas LLC(Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2, & 3) (Subsequent License Renewal), Docket Nos. 50-269-SLR-2, 50-270-SLR-2, and 50-287-SLR-2 Kairos Power LLC(Hermes 2 Test Reactor Facility) (Construction Permit Mandatory Hearing), Docket Nos. 50-611-CP and 50-612-CP In light of Mr. Azeizat's involvement in these matters, he will be screened from all participation in the foregoing matters. Prior to Mr. Azeizat joining the Firm, the Firm's File Room and Information Technology personnel will be instructed not to grant Mr. Azeizat access to the files relating to these matters, and the applicable files will be labeled accordingly. He will not share in any fees attributable to these matters. Moreover, Mr. Azeizat has not and will not reveal any information regarding the noted matters that he obtained while with the NRC to anyone in the Firm.
