- 2024 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING FOR BROWNS FERRY, SEQUOYAH, AND WATTS BAR NUCLEAR PLANTS, DOCKET NOS. 50-259, 50-260, 50-296, 50-327, 50-328, 50-390, AND 50-391, MEETING NO.
20250366 On April 7, 2025, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a hybrid meeting (virtual and in-person) concerning the Browns Ferry, Sequoyah, and Watts Bar Nuclear Plants.
The purpose of this meeting was to provide an opportunity for the public to discuss the annual assessment of the plants for the period of January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024.
The meeting was held both virtually via Microsoft Teams and in-person at Athens State University / Sandridge Student Center, 300 N. Beaty Street, Athens, AL. Additionally, a dial-in by phone option was available. The following documents related to the meeting are available in NRCs document system (ADAMS): Meeting Notice (Accession No. ML25083A074), Browns Ferry Annual Assessment Letter (ML25066A107), Sequoyah Annual Assessment Letter (ML25066A114), Watts Bar Annual Assessment Letter (ML25066A124), and Assessment Meeting Presentation (ML25080A220). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Website at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
The meeting was conducted from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM local time. Meeting attendees consisted of representatives from the NRC, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), and others. The attendee list is provided in the Enclosure. NRC staff were available for questions following the presentation; however, no questions were raised.
The meeting was listed in the Public Meeting Feedback System under Meeting Code 20250366 and as of the date of this memo, no feedback forms were submitted.
