PUBLIC MEETING
SUMMARY
- 2024 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING REGARDING TURKEY POINT NUCLEAR GENERATING, UNITS 3 AND 4, DOCKET NOS. 05000250 AND 05000251 On April 22, 2025, Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff conducted an information meeting with a question and answer session to provide the public with information on the annual performance assessment of Turkey Point Nuclear Generating, Units 3 and 4, for the period of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
The public meeting was held at the Cutler Bay Town Center, 10720 Caribbean Blvd., Cutler Bay, FL. The following documents related to the meeting are available in ADAMS: 2024 Annual Assessment Meeting for Turkey Point Nuclear Generating (ML25094A086) Public Meeting Announcement, and Annual Assessment Letter for Turkey Point Nuclear Generating, Units 3 &
4 - Report 05000250/2024006 and 05000251/2024006 (ML25066A149).
The meeting was scheduled for 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM local time. There were 12 attendees, which consisted of representatives from the NRC, Florida Power and Light, and members of the public. NRC representatives discussed their assessment of Turkey Points performance, as documented in the annual assessment letter, and discussed topics of public interest during the question and answer session. Enclosed is a list of attendees.
The meeting was listed in the Public Meeting Feedback System under Meeting Code 20250424 and as of the date of this memo, there were no feedback responses to the meeting.
