Dear Mr. Baldner:
By letter dated March 21, 2025, NAC International, submitted an amendment application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), requesting approval for an alternate method to determine the free volume inside a loaded canister and an alternate method to measure the amount of helium placed inside the canister to assure that Technical Specification limits for Helium density inside the Transportable Storage Canister are met for its MAGNASTOR Cask System. This e-mail acknowledges receipt of your application in ADAMS dated March 21, 2025, and informs you that our Acceptance Review has started.
