Purpose:
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will host a public meeting to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Seabrook Station for 2024, as described in the March 11, 2025, annual assessment letter. Following the meeting, the NRC will respond to questions from members of the public on specific performance issues at the plant and our role in ensuring safe plant operations.
NRC Attendees:
M. Young, Chief, Projects Branch 2, Division of Operating Reactor Safety T. Daun, Senior Resident Inspector S. Flanagan, Resident Inspector N. Floyd, Senior Reactor Inspector Public Participation: This is an Information Meeting with a question-and-answer session. The meeting will begin with a presentation by NRC staff on the NRCs assessment of 2024 performance at Seabrook Station. Following the presentation, the public will have the opportunity to ask questions specific to plant safety performance and the NRCs role in ensuring safe plant operations. Questions may also be submitted in advance to Matt.Young@nrc.gov.
