ACCEPTANCE OF HIGHWAY ROUTE APPROVAL APPLICATION (NRC ROUTE NO.247), DOCKET NUMBER: 070-07011
Dear Mr. Hunt:
On December 9, 2024, Secured Transportation Services, LLC, submitted an application to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), for approval of a highway route for shipments of spent nuclear fuel (SNF), in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 73.37(b)(1)(vi).
The NRC staff has conducted an acceptance review of your SNF route application and determined that it contains sufficient information to begin a detailed technical and security review. Our goal is to complete our review of the route application within 45 days of the date of this letter.
