This is a Closed meeting. This covers closed meeting sessions requested pursuant to 10 CFR 2.390(d)(1), which relates to correspondence and reports to or from the NRC which contain information or records concerning a licensee's or applicant's physical protection, classified matter protection, or material control and accounting program for special nuclear material not otherwise designated as Safeguards Information or classified as National Security Information or Restricted Data.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) proposal regarding the regulatory requirements related to, and inspection of, supplemental surveillance, observation, and monitoring equipment in an operating nuclear power plant owner controlled area for inclusion in NEI 03-12, Template for the Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan, [and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program]. This topic was previously discussed at a closed public meeting on December 12, 2024 (meeting summary ML25017A195).
