This letter is in reference to the petition for rulemaking (PRM) that you submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on January 22, 2025 (NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML25065A034).

As stated in the NRCs March 6, 2025, letter (ML25065A092), the NRC docketed this petition under Section 2.803, Petition for RulemakingNRC Action, of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR).1 In the petition, you request that the NRC revise its regulations in 10 CFR Part 50, Domestic Licensing of Production and Utilization Facilities, to remove specific conditions, clarify specific requirements, and incorporate requested code cases to the next revision of Regulatory Guides 1.84 and 1.147, which will be incorporated by reference into the agencys rulemaking on industry standards. Your petition has been assigned Docket Number PRM-50-127. Please reference this docket number on any correspondence you may have concerning the petition.
