The subject letter dated December 16, 2024, and enclosure are being mailed to you. However, I wanted to provide you with a courtesy copy over email.
The NRC staff has prepared a draft environmental assessment (EA) and finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the Crystal River Unit 3 nuclear plant independent spent fuel storage installation (ISFSI) updated decommissioning funding plans (DFPs). We are providing your office with the opportunity to review the draft EA and comment on environmental issues prior to the public issuance and publication of the EA. We request any comments you may have within 30 days from the date of the letter. Please note that attached cover letter and draft EA are pre-decisional information and not publicly available. Please handle appropriately.
Note that this email will be placed in ADAMS (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System) as publicly available to document the transmittal of the documents.
