Hope you are doing well. This is with regards to the draft environmental assessment (EA) and finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the Crystal River Unit 3 nuclear plant independent spent fuel storage installation (ISFSI) updated decommissioning funding plans (DFPs). Back in December 2024, we provided your office with the opportunity to review the draft EA and provide comments on environmental issues prior
to the public issuance and publication of the EA. We requested any comments within 30 days from the date of the letter (i.e., January 15, 2025). To date, we have not received any comments therefore, we plan to proceed with the public issuance and publication of the EA.
Note that this email will be placed in ADAMS (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System) as publicly available to document this communication.
