SUMMARY
OF FEBRUARY 6, 2025, QUARTERLY PUBLIC MEETING WITH THE TSTF On February 6, 2025, a public meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and members of the Technical Specifications Task Force (TSTF) at NRC headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. The meeting notice and agenda, dated January 27, 2025, are available in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML25027A370. A list of attendees is provided in the enclosure.
The purpose of the meeting was for the NRC staff and TSTF members to discuss a variety of topics related to technical specifications. Agenda items included the status of TSTF Travelers under review (ML25037A057), the calendar year 2024 in review (ML25037A058), and discussion of ideas for improvements to the traveler review process. The NRC staff and TSTF also discussed traveler TSTF-502-T, Correct Containment Isolation Valve Bases Regarding Closed Systems, which was delayed from the November 2024 meeting (ML24319A149).
Tentative dates for 2025 quarterly meetings are Thursdays May 8, August 7, and November 6.
