By letter dated February 14, 2024, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No.ML24045A024), Constellation Energy Generation (CEG), LLC submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) an application for license renewal of Facility Operating License No. NPF-62 for Clinton Power Station (CPS), Unit 1.
CEG submitted the application pursuant to the Code of Federal Regulations part 54, Requirements for Renewal of Operating Licenses for Nuclear Power Plants, for license renewal.
The NRC staff is in the process of reviewing your application. Based on the review, the NRC staff has identified the attached requests for additional information (RAIs)and request for clarifying information (RCI).
The schedule for your responses to these RAIs and RCI were discussed with Lydia Dworakowski of your staff, and a mutually agreeable date for the responses is within 30 days from the date of this email, except for RAI 4.3.2-3, which has an agreed upon response within 45 days.
