Dear Mr. Wilson,
By letter dated April 17,2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Package Accession No. ML24108A008), Constellation Energy Generation LLC (Constellation),
submitted an application (ML24108A010) for subsequent license renewal (SLR) of Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-19 and DPR-25 for Dresden Nuclear Power Station Unit 2 and 3, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or staff). Constellation submitted the application pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 54, Requirements for Renewal of Operating Licenses for Nuclear Power Plants, for license renewal. As a part of the SLR process, the NRC staff conducted a SAMA review on September 30, 2024, an environmental audit the week of October 21, 2024, and an on-site environmental audit on December 12, 2024. Based on our review, the NRC staff has identified the attached request for clarification (RCI) and requests for additional information (RAIs). The schedule for your response to these RCIs and RAIs were discussed with Allison Stalker of your staff, and a mutually agreeable date for the response is within 30 days from the date of this email.
