TERMINATION OF SPECIAL NUCLEAR MATERIALS LICENSE NO. 2512 FOR THE IDAHO SPENT FUEL FACILITY (ENTERPRISE PROJECT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER L-2024-LIT-0000)

Dear Mark Brown:

By letter dated November 26, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System

[ADAMS] Accession No. ML24332A156), you requested that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) terminate Special Nuclear Materials License No. 2512 (SNM-2512) for the Idaho Spent Fuel Facility. The NRC staff has reviewed your request and approves the termination of SNM-2512. This license termination is effective upon receipt of this letter.

A copy of the Federal Register notice, announcing issuance of the license termination, is enclosed. The notice has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.

This action closes efforts under Enterprise Project Identification Number L-2024-LIT-0000.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS.
