paragraph (e)(4), Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG) submits Revision 20 to the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR), Amendment 31 to the Fire Protection Report (FPR) for Braidwood and Byron Stations (BRW-BYR), and Aging Management summary of evaluations conducted pursuant to 10 CFR 54.37, "Additional records and record keeping requirements,"

paragraph (b).

The enclosed BRW-BYR UFSAR Revision 20 is being provided to the NRC in electronic format on the Electronic Information Exchange (EIE) and is being submitted in its entirety, constituting total replacement copies. Also enclosed in electronic format on EIE, is the BRW-BYR Fire Protection Report (FPR), Amendment 31, Braidwood Technical Requirements Manuals (TRM) updated through Revision 120, Byron TRM updated through Revision 141, Braidwood Technical Specifications Bases (TSB) updated through Revision 149, and Byron TSB updated through Revision 130. UFSAR pages changed as a result of this update are delineated with "Revision 20, December 2024" in the page footer. FPR pages changed as a result of this update are delineated with "Amendment 31, December 2024" in the page header.

Changes to the UFSAR, FPR, TRM and TSB have been made under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59, "Changes, tests, and experiments," 10 CFR 72.48, "Changes, tests, and experiments,"

and 10 CFR 54.37(b) "Additional records and recordkeeping requirements."

Attachment A provides a brief summary of the changes incorporated into UFSAR Revision 20.

Attachment B provides a brief summary of the changes incorporated into FPR Amendment 31.

Attachment C provides the 10 CFR 54.37(b) Aging Management Review Summary.

Attachment D contains the directory path, filename, and size of each individual file.

DRP 19-068 - Revised UFSAR Sections 9.4.9.1.1 and 9.4.9.1.2 to reflect modified 48-inch main VQ System main purge duct work segments in accordance with EC 634575, Braidwood Unit 2.

DRP 19-069 - Revised UFSAR Section 9.4.9.3.2 to reflect that high filter differential pressure, high charcoal filter temperature are annunciated in the main control room per EC 634571, Braidwood Unit 1 & 2 DRP 19-074 - Revised UFSAR Section 9.3.1.2 to reflect replacement of the Unit 2 Station air compressor at Braidwood Station in accordance with a Braidwood EC 630881, Unit-2.

DRP 19-080 - Revised UFSAR Section 10.4.6.2.2.1 that each vessel contains approximately 280 ft^3 of resin." These ratios are approximations and flexible based on Chemistry needs, the total amount of resin will be denoted in order to remove confusion and excessive detail about the resin amounts used for Byron and Braidwood. (Non-Regulatory change)

DRP 19-082 - Revised UFSAR Section 9.5.4.2 to revise the textual reference to a specific numerical volume of stored diesel fuel to state that a 7-day supply of stored diesel fuel is maintained per Technical Specifications. This change is implemented in accordance with a Byron and Braidwood Technical Specification Amendment 230.

DRP 20-035 - Revised UFSAR Table 5.3-2 and Appendix F to reflect removal of License Renewal Commitment to Repair Stud Hole 35 on the Reactor Vessel Main Flange in accordance with an NRC approved license amendment 229 for Braidwood Unit 2.

DRP 20-036 and DRP 20-042 - Revised UFSAR section 9.3.4.1.2.5 to reflect a change in the boration flow rate from 30 gpm to 33 gpm per Westinghouse BORDER analysis for Braidwood and Byron.

Page 2 of 2 FDRP 31-005 - Updated 2.3 Fire Area Analysis, section 2.3.3.6 to reclassify a portion of the FP system at Byron that was conservatively classified as Safety Category 1, Quality group C (ASME Section III class 3) and imposes unnecessary requirements. This change reflects and update that was not incorporated under FDRP 29-001 although identified. (Byron)

FDRP 31-008 - Updated Table 3.1 NFPA Code Deviation Report. Change Adds deviations for the motor driven and diesel driven fire pump sensing lines and piping size. The sensing lines shares a common connection with the jockey pumps. The sensing lines have a portion of piping that is 3/4 inch in size. (Braidwood)

FDRP 31-013 - Updated Section 2.3.6 to correct typo referencing section 2.3.11.35 instead of section 2.3.11.36 (Byron / Braidwood)

FDRP 31-015 - Updated Table 3.1 NFPA Code Deviation Report. Change Adds deviations for the motor driven and diesel driven fire pump sensing lines and piping size. Page 1 of 1 Attachment C Braidwood and Byron Stations 10 CFR 54.37(b) Aging Management Review Summary In accordance with 10 CFR 54.37(b) and the guidance specified in Regulatory Issue Summary 2007-16, Revision 1, Implementation of the Requirements of the 10 CFR 54.37(b) for Holders of Renewed Licenses, the UFSAR update required by 10 CFR 50.71 must include any Structures, Systems or Components (SSCs) newly identified that would have been subject to an aging management review or evaluation of time-limited aging analyses in accordance with 10 CFR 54.21. This UFSAR update must describe how the effects of aging will be managed such that the intended function(s) in 10 CFR 54.4(b) will be effectively maintained during the period of extended operation.

The 10 CFR 54.37(b) review of changes to the plant Current Licensing Basis covered the period of November 14, 2022 to October 7, 2024. The review included:

x Engineering Changes that were installed or completed since the last UFSAR update, x

UFSAR change descriptions since last review, and x

NRC Interim Staff Guidelines (ISGs) and other NRC documentation not previously evaluated that could potentially require Aging Management Reviews (AMRs) for SSCs not evaluated during license renewal.

No newly identified SSCs were identified that require aging management or evaluation of TLAAs in accordance with the License Renewal Rule. Therefore, there are no associated updates required to the Braidwood and Byron UFSARs and Aging Management Programs.
