Diablo Canyon LRA - Requests for Additional Information - Set 2.pdf Ms. Gerfen, By letter dated November 7, 2023 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No.ML23311A154), Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) submitted an application for the renewal of Facility Operating License Nos.DPR-80 and DPR-82 for Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant (DCPP), Units 1 and 2 to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). PG&E submitted the application pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations part 54, Requirements for Renewal of Operating Licenses for Nuclear Power Plants, for license renewal.
The NRC staff is in the process of reviewing your application.Based on the review, the NRC staff has identified the attached requests for additional information (RAIs) and request for clarifying information (RCI).
The schedule for your response to these RAIs and RCI were discussed with Philippe Soenen of your staff, and a mutually agreeable date for the response is within 35 days from the date of this email.
