APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 22 TO MATERIALS LICENSE TO ADD THE LICENSEES DECOMMISSIOINING PLAN, REV. 3 TO THE LICENSE
Dear Mr. Hesemann,
The purpose of this letter is to notify you of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has approved the issuance of an amendment to license SNM-928. By letter dated October 7, 2022, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) ML22284A145),
Environmental Properties Management, Inc. (EPM) submitted on behalf of the Cimarron Environmental Response Trust (CERT or licensee) a request for a license amendment approving CERTs proposed revised decommissioning plan.
This letter documents the U.S. NRC staffs approval of this request and provides License Amendment No. 22 for the Cimarron Environmental Response Trust Materials License SNM-928 (Docket No. 70-0925). Documents supporting the NRC staffs review, including the Environmental Assessment (EA) ADAMS Accession No. ML24334A062, and the Safety Evaluation Report (SER) ADAMS Accession No. ML24264A155, are also enclosed, and listed in the Table on the NRC Cimarron License Webpage.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of the NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
