JANUARY 15, 2025, DECOMMISSIONING LESSONS LEARNED PUBLIC MEETING WORKSHOP
Dear Madam and Sirs:
On January 15th, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission will be holding a public meeting to discuss Decommissioning Lessons Learned from past and recent decommissioning projects. The objective of the meeting is to share good practices and lessons learned to improve the overall decommissioning process from transitioning from operations to decommissioning to license termination.
As a decommissioning project licensee, we encourage your participation and invite you to submit a presentation topic so NRC can include your companies lessons learned in the agenda.
We are working with Mr. Bruce Montgomery of the Nuclear Energy Institute to coordinate industry participation.

The January 15th meeting will be held as an in-person meeting at NRC Headquarters in the One White Flint Commissioners Hearing Room. Participation will also be available on-line virtually via the internet. Details with meeting times will be available on the NRCs Meeting Webpage.
