Dear Dir. Warden:
Enclosed is application (PXB6.46) to amend (PXB6.45) dated July 22, 2024, and accepted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, from Alpha Omega Services. The applicant is requesting a specific license to export Category 1 quantities of Cobalt-60 to Canada and Sweden for recycling and/or end of life-cycle management. This application is also requesting the export of Iridium-192 to Japan for medical brachytherapy devices. Furthermore, this license amendment will revise three (3) U.S. parties on the list of exporting addresses and remove three (3) parties from the list.
The NRC plans to issue the requested license amendment after the 30-day time period allotted for public review has lapsed and a determination has been made that the applicable licensing criteria have been met.
