Letter
Date:
Monday, September 9, 2024 9:57:00 AM
Good morning,
Thank you for identifying during our phone conversation on Friday, September 6, 2024, that
the response letter to your escalation transmitted that same day contained a minor
administrative error in the scenario number for the disputed tactic. This email corrects the
language in the letter, listed below, from "Scenario 1" to "Scenario 2 as the scenario identified
with the escalated tactic. The content of the letter and enclosure regarding the details of the
escalation response are unchanged.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff received a completed Inspection
Procedure 71130.03, Addendum 3, Formal Disagreement with Adversary Characteristics,
Attributes, or Tactics Employed or Prepared as Part of an NRC Force-on-Force Evaluated
Exercise, form, signed on September 3, 2024, along with its attached document that provides
details to a disputed tactic, technique, or procedure (TTP) within Scenario 2 developed by an
NRC force-on-force inspection team. This letter was placed into the Agencywide Documents
Access and Management System (ADAMS) under ML24248A220 but will not be made publicly
available due to the sensitivity of the information.
Thanks,
Jeff
