Letter of Recommendation for Jeff Poehler to join International Group on Radiation Damage Mechanisms (IGRDM)
Dear Dr. van Walle I am transitioning to a new position within NRC and as a result, I must resign from IGRDM. It has been an honor to be part of IGRDM since 2018.
I am writing to recommend Mr. Jeffrey Poehler to succeed me on IGRDM as the U.S. NRC representative. Mr. Poehler has many years of relevant experience, working both in industry and at the NRC. He is currently leading several NRC research projects related to reactor pressure vessel integrity, embrittlement, and aging. As such, he is highly qualified for this role.
I am grateful for your consideration of my recommendation of Mr. Poehler to become a member of the IGRDM.
