APPLICATION FOR THE MODEL NO. VOLUNTEER PACKAGE -
ACCEPTANCE LETTER
Dear Heath Baldner:
By letter dated May 20, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML24142A453), NAC International (NAC) submitted an application for approval of the Model No. VOLUNTEER package.
On August 22, 2024, NAC submitted its responses (ML24235A548) to the staffs Request for Supplemental Information dated July 16, 2024 (ML24194A118). The revised application appears to contain the necessary information to begin our detailed technical review.
The schedule allows for the staff to issue a possible request for additional information on or around December 9, 2024, with responses due by January 31, 2025, and, if no additional information is needed, issue a Certificate of Compliance by the end of May 2025. The staff estimates that completing the safety review of this application will require approximately 950 staff hours and $20,000 in support contract costs.
