Background
On March 27, 2024 (ML24080A502), and March 28, 2024 (ML24080A395), NRC authorized, Alternative Requests RR01and RR02, respectively, for the Fifth 10-Year IST Program interval starting on June 1, 2024. The applicable code for both alternatives is the ASME OM Code, 2020 Edition. Per Alternative Request 1RR06 (to extend the fourth 10-year IST Interval), the start date of Alternative Requests RR01 and RR02 for the Fifth 10-Year IST interval would be changed to June 1, 2025.
Question 1 The NRC staff requests the licensee to confirm that with the extension of the fourth 10-year IST interval as proposed in Alternative Request 1RR06, the start date of Alternative Requests RR01 and RR02 for the fifth 10-year IST interval will be June 1, 2025.
