Dear Tim Knowles,

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has received your submittal dated July 16, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML24199A105), pertaining to Global Laser Enrichment, LLC (GLE), update to their previously approved standard practice and procedure plan (SPPP) to remove the old headquarters.

We have completed our acceptance review of the submittal. We have identified no administrative omissions or deficiencies that would prevent us from proceeding with a detailed review. Your submittal will utilize the existing Enterprise Project Identification Number (EPID) L-2021-SPR-0002.

Please reference this EPID number and Docket Number 07003033 in any future correspondence associated with this request. Please note that the NRC staffs technical review of your submittal may identify issues that require additional information. Based on our preliminary evaluation and projection of current review schedules, we anticipate completing our formal review by October 31, 2024. This date could change depending on the findings of our technical review, urgent assignments, or other factors. We will promptly communicate any significant changes to this schedule. In addition, the NRC staff estimates that completing the review of your submittal will require approximately 50 staff hours which corresponds to about $15,000.00 (current rate of $300.00/hr).
