Dear Ms. Helton:
Salado Isolation Mining Contractors LLC (SIMCO), on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy Carlsbad Field Office (CBFO) and in accordance with 10 CFR 71.38, hereby requests the renewal of Certificate of Compliance (CofC) No. 9218 for the TRUPACT-II shipping package. The current CofC, Revision 27, was approved on November 21, 2022, and is scheduled to expire on September 30, 2024. This fleet of packages continues to be operated and maintained by CBFO in accordance with all of the conditions listed and referenced in the current CofC, Revision 27.
