- a. Current, effective revision of the ISA Summary
- b. Organizational charts for personnel involved with radiation protection (RP) and radioactive waste (RW) activities. Please note any personnel changes since June 2022.
ii. Annual ALARA Program review iii. RP and RW procedures which were revised in the past two years, including the configuration management documentation to support the changes (do not include procedures that only had administrative or minor editorial changes) iv. RP and RW standard operating procedures (SOP) and management control procedures (MCP)
- v. Radiation Job/Work Permits (RJPs/RWPs) vi. Radiological postings and access controls vii. Radiation and contamination surveys viii. Respiratory protection program ix. Airborne radioactivity monitoring
- x. Dosimetry program xi. Personnel OSLD/TLD monitoring program xii. Response to unplanned contamination/safety significant radiological events xiii. Calibration and set point verification for exit monitors such as hand-and-foot monitors (HFMs) and personnel contamination monitors (PCMs) xiv. Instrumentation & equipment calibration xv. Radioactive source control (sealed sources) xvi. Container labeling xvii. Occupational dose results xviii. Posting of notice to workers xix. - e. Radiological dose reports or records for dose results for workers, minors, and the public within the last 24 months
- f. CAAS calibration and functional testing records within the last 24 months
- g. Records for internal dose results
- h. Records for bioassay program
- i. Records of any significant radiological or radioactive waste events within the last 24 months
- j. Examples of training/qualifications records for new radiological technicians (rad techs) and rad waste handlers (within the last 24 months)
- k. A list of training and qualification/OJT requirements (generic qualification card or curriculum) for personnel performing RP and RW activities such as, but not limited to, radiation technicians, rad waste handlers, health physicists, radiation safety officer, managers, etc.
- l. List of condition reports (i.e., corrective actions) related to RP and RW for the previous 24 months including condition reports for the following ENs: EN56851, EN56904, EN57162, and EN57116
- m. CYs 22 and 23 Annual ALARA Reports
- n. Radiation Safety Committee meeting minutes for the previous 24 months, if applicable
- o. Most recent self-assessment and/or audits report in the areas of Radiation Protection and Radioactive Waste within the last 24 months
- p. During the inspection week, please provide an updated schedule showing RP and RW activities for: Advanced Fuel Manufacturing, plan of the day meetings, corrective action meetings, and daily maintenance
- 2) FOLLOW-UP ITEMS
- a. Inspectors are interested walking down areas related to the ENs identified in 1) l. above
