STATUTORY AUTHORITY Atomic Energy Act of 1954 Energy Reorganization Act of 1974 split the Atomic Energy Commission into the NRC and the predecessor of the Energy Department.

  • The current Dresden Facility Operating Licenses expire at midnight on December 22, 2029, and January 12, 2031, respectively
  • CEG seeks to renew the licenses to December 2049 and January 2051, respectively 7
