APPROVAL OF WESTINGHOUSE LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST REGARDING THE COLUMBIA FUEL FABRICATION FACILITY SITE EMERGENCY PLAN (ENTERPISE PROJECT IDENTIFIER L-2024-EPR-0000)
Dear Jeffrey Ferguson:
By letter dated March 20, 2024 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System
[ADAMS] Accession No. ML24080A507), as supplemented by email dated April 19, 2024 (ML24110A143, non-public), Westinghouse Electric Company LLC (Westinghouse) requested U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review and approval of changes to the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility Site (CFFF) Emergency Plan in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 70.32(i). The NRC staff has completed its review of the March 20, 2024, request. The details associated with the NRC staffs technical evaluation of the request are documented in the enclosed non-public safety evaluation report (SER). As part of this licensing action, License Condition S-2 has been modified to incorporate, in the enclosed license, the application submitted on March 20, 2024.
This approval letter closes the NRC staffs efforts under the Enterprise Project Identifier L-2024-EPR-0000.
Enclosures 1 and 3 transmitted herewith contain sensitive security related information. When separated from the sensitive conditions in the enclosures, this document and enclosure 2 are decontrolled.
