Westinghouse Request for Prior Approval of Revision 24 of the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) Site Emergency Plan

Dear Director,

In accordance with 10 CFR 70.32(i), Westinghouse Electric Company LLC (Westinghouse) is requesting U.S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission prior approval for one change to the enclosed Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) Site Emergency Plan, Revision 24 (Plan). The remainder of the changes to the Plan do not decrease the effectiveness of the Plan. The revision requiring NRC prior approval is a change to the backup method of communication designated in Section 6.2.1 of the plan. Revision 23 of the CFFF Site Emergency Plan will remain in effect until Westinghouses request is approved by the NRC.
