Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) submitted Materials Reliability Program: Guidance on Timing for Technical Specifications Revision Following Surveillance Capsule Testing (MRP-484) to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for review and approval with a request for proprietary withholding. MRP-484 aims to bring increased certainty to the process of revising P-T limits and operating procedures based on the results of surveillance capsule testing, By letter dated June 14, 2024 (ADAMS Accession No. ML24152A124), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) did not accept Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) Report MRP-484, Guidance on Timing for Technical Specifications Revision Following Surveillance Capsule Testing, for review and approval.
The purpose of this email is to issue the approval of the request for withholding for the proprietary version of MRP-484 that was submitted and not withdrawn. The completed NRC Form 897, Topical Report Withholding Determination, is attached.
